Volunteer
To successfully follow along You Are Amazing's mission always and create opportunities for disadvantaged students to look at STEM in a different and positive way, it is important for people to step forward and volunteer. There are currently two ways one can volunteer in: as a tutor and as a speaker at one of our monthly mentoring sessions. Anyone is welcome to volunteer. If a volunteer is in grade 12 or under, they will get service hours.
Donate
The You Are Amazing team wants to help every curious middle and elementary school student in their STEM journey. We believe that education and mentoring should be accessible to everyone. Please donate if you can to help us stay focused on our mission. We are in the process of setting up a corporation and your donation is not tax deductible, but it will go a long way to help our community. It will be used to organize all of the services and events we organize.
Organize an Event
The You Are Amazing team has some plans for events in the future like a STEM fair, math competition, and a hackathon. However, if you could suggest some ideas for events, suggest how to materialize ideas already presented and organize the event, and/or organize an event yourself with the help of others, that would really help. You could by doing these steps become a crucial part of the You Are Amazing movement. By doing any of these three, a person in grade 12 or under will receive service hours.
